This is Storm Watch Meteorologist Jon Slater...

Showers and thunderstorms this morning in northwestern Oklahoma are falling apart and I expect mostly sunny and hot weather across most of the state this afternoon. Highs will reach well into the 90s most places. Our next cold front looks to arrive late Thursday into Friday. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible in northwestern Oklahoma Thursday and then pushing southeast across the state Thursday night and Friday. Once again expect hot temperatures on Thursday and then slightly cooler weather behind the front for the holiday weekend. Another front might arrive late Monday and Tuesday as you get back from the unofficial last weekend of Summer.

Have a great day, Jon...
